The Monthly 10 - Studio Findlay's March Favourites
Between sourcing for clients and the constant evolution of our own homes, we are constantly on the lookout for the latest finds. Each month we will share our roundup of Studio Findlay Favourites.
1- birds eye view
We LOVE a good wallpaper moment. Whether it’s a powder room, nursery or dining room, the right wallpaper can really elevate your space. We love this beautiful print from Chasing Paper and artist Keeley Shaw called ‘Birds Eye View’. We love that Chasing Paper does traditional wallpaper as well as more commitment friendly peel and stick.
2 - handmade rattan pear basket
We’ve been sourcing and styling a beautiful nursery project recently and came across this sweet rattan pear basket from one of our favourites, Rug & Weave. We love the playful shape and of course it’s always a bonus to add ways to store small items like pacifiers and teethers.
3 - WATERMARK TILE
Cle Tile can do no wrong in our eyes - they make the most stunning handmade tiles of the most amazing quality. We stopped dead in our tracks when we saw The Watermark Collection. The ombre effect was inspired by Japanese textile dyeing techniques and creates a beautiful fade of colour from dark to light.. We love the subtle fading and the uniqueness of each individual tile. These tiles would be a stunning addition to any home.
4 - organic turkish bath towel
Treating yourself to quality towels is such a wonderful luxury. We love Linen Reform’s Organic Turkish Bath Towel in the rich Terracotta tone. These towels are made from 100% organic Turkish cotton and provide a beautiful soft hand while maintaining absorbency. Beyond the products themselves, Linen Reform is an amazing company dedicated to social and environmental impact.
5 - doze off daybed
The classic yet contemporary Doze Off Daybed from Sunday’s Company popped up in our feed a few weeks ago and we just fell in love. If I could find a spot for this in my home, I would! The clean lines, the crisp linen-blend upholstery and perfect proportions just had us falling in love with this great and affordable piece.
6 - bibi double wall sconce
Recently we were searching for the perfect sconce to live alongside a millwork design and we came across the Bibi Double Wall Sconce through Lighthouse Co. Designed by Mitzi, the soft curves are so lovely and we love the subtle ivory tone complete with brass accent. The collection also inclues a one light flush-mount, one-light sconce or one-light pendant.
7 - Provence Collection PRO-01
We LOVE a good Loloi rug. We regularly use these stunning rugs on more budget conscious projects because their designs are amazing and the price point is just right. We are loving their latest collaboration - Rifle Paper Co. x Loloi, and their Provence Collection in Abbey Slate just jumped out at us. We could see this looking gorgeous in a feminine nursery design or as a kitchen runner in a more classic home.
9 - Faible U-Shaped Sectional
A 6 piece sectional in a wheat coloured performance velvet is just perfect for that rec room, basement or media area in your home. We love how the oversized profile and proportions contributes to lounging comfortably, while the performance fabric is built to withstand spills and other wear and tear. The Faible Collection from CB2 is modular so you can customize the layout to suit your individual space.
10 - searfina bolster pillow
When layering in cozy and comfortable pillows in any of our projects, one of our go-to sourcing spots is Tonic Living. We fell in love with the Searfina Bolster Pillow immediately! We love the combination of plum, blush, robin’s egg blue and chocolate brown. The vintage-look lands right in our sweet spot. We love a large bolster on a bed as that last finishing touch.
